Hudson Valley Youth Festival 5K

On Saturday, May 17th The Marathon Project and local area youth runners were highlighted in the Hudson Valley Youth Festival held at the Rhinebeck Fairgrounds.

The festival kicked off with a 5K running event sponsored by, The Council on Addiction Prevention and Education of Dutchess County, Inc. The race attracted over 80 youth participants. Jonathan Von Reusner from Red Hook was first place finisher. Reusner completed the race in the impressive time of 19:11.

All of the youth runners ran outstandingly well. Kudos to all who participated, volunteered and supported the event.
